About Jason

History

Jason began to study Reiki and work on his own personal and spiritual development in 1997. In 1999 Jason became a Reiki Master through Elizabeth Tuttle of Inner Reflections and started teaching Reiki to others. He completed two bachelor of science degrees at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in August 2000 and began to work in environmental consulting.

His path again shifted in 2003 when he attended the Florida School of Massage (http://www.floridaschoolofmassage.com/) in Gainesville FL in 2004. He then began developing a personal massage practice in central MA. Jason has been doing massage at Worcester Fitness Centers in Worcester, MA as well as working at events and home and business outcalls since graduating in 2004. He opened a new massage office in Amherst NH in October 2007.

His goal is to assist others in feeling better, and changing their lives for the better.

Jason continues to study other massage modalities and is on the certification track for Visionary Craniosacral Therapy at the Milne Institute in an effort to further develop his practice.

Jason is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA; http://amtamassage.org/) and carries licenses in both Massachusetts (#1915) and New Hampshire (#2878M).

Possible Locations

Jason does bodywork in several different locations. This includes an established office Amherst NH. Jason also does home and business outcalls with a massage chair or table. Outcalls are available for North Central MA and Southern NH. Jason operates under State Licenses in Massachusetts (#1915) and New Hampshire (#2878M).

When massage is done at a client’s home, it is preferred that there is a quiet space away from the general home traffic. It is also preferred to have access to a restroom to wash hands before and after the massage while the client is getting dressed in private. Some clients also like to have a friend or family member around, and sometimes they both get massages.

Another option is a specially-designed massage chair. This allow a client to be comfortable and fully dressed, and works great as a thank-you to employees, at a house party, at health and spiritually oriented events, and at charity events.

Jason also teaches classes for Reiki and some types of bodywork. Reiki Certification classes are usually taught as a weekend-long program for each level.
